Hi I'm Alisa Pierce

I'm a Huntington Beach local. I'm currently serving as a missionary in the Argentina Posadas Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a beach city in Southern California. I love all kinds of board sports. I love wakeboarding, snowboarding, etc. I also spent 4 years on my High School Golf team. I spend a lot of time teaching young children piano and have found great joy in watching children learn and gain an attachment to music. Music is a wonderful universal language and can bring the spirit into any situation. I have also loved watching these children succeed and find passion in something. I spent a year of my life at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and I loved every second of it. I also have a great love and attraction to all sorts of social media. I love sharing the exciting things about my life with my friends on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, and Facebook.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have found so much love, light, and truth through this gospel. I have found that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints bring true happiness and joy to my life. I am sharing this gospel with others as I serve as a missionary because I love it so much.

How I live my faith

I have a great attachment to social media. I have found that I can live my faith on social media. By sharing uplifting messages on the internet, I can lift up those who follow me or are friends with me on these various websites. I have also found that it is very easy to find uplifting LDS links that I can post on my personal social media feeds today. However, sometimes social media can be used to hurt others. It is saddening to see so much hurt on the internet. As I make sure that my feed is uplifting and inspiring, I can bring others to understand and feel of our Savior's love. People are watching my every move on social media as a representative of Christ, and it is up to me to make sure that I am being an instrument in bringing about good in the world. I have sacrificed my love for social media for a year and a half to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Argentina Posadas Mission. I will be speaking Spanish for these 18 months, and I do not want to be anywhere else doing anything else!
