Hi I'm Stephen

I grew up in a small town, Richfield it's located in central Utah. I'm a missionary for the Lord Jesus Christ, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a town of about 7,500 people. I ran track and Cross Country in high school and loved it. I come from a big family (8 kids, with two sets of twins, I'm in between them, lucky me) lots of noise, and love. I just finished my freshman year at college, my major is in history. I enjoy reading, especially fantasy, I love J R R Tolkien's The Silmarillion.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon church, I have not seen angels or anything like that. But I have found for myself that there is a happiness in the gospel that can't be found anywhere else. I have had the privilege of seeing the power of God to change lives. I haven't always believed everything about the gospel, while I was never opposed to anything in it, I was just kinda.... There. Then when my life wasn't exactly what I wanted it to be, I did some soul searching. I would lie for hours trying to figure out where I stood with my Father in Heaven. After several months of trying to find myself, I finally decided that I wanted the happiness that I felt as a child again. I finally decided to get myself where I needed to be, and I can say now that I have found happiness.

How I live my faith

I always strive to follow the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, especially his commandments to have charity in all things. I have given several talks in my church meetings. I was a youth leader for two years, myself and about a dozen other youth were in charge of organizing activities for several hundred youth ages 12-17. I became an Eagle Scout at the age of 16. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.
