Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a missionary from Utah going to Peru to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently finished High School and I'm heading away for my mission. In school I ran Cross Country and I played Rugby on School teams. I love sports more than almost anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the gospel is true. I know that God loves me and he wants me to be with and help his church. Though I've grown up in the church and my family members have been Mormons for generations, I have found for myself that the gospel is true. The spirit has testified of its truth to me. I love the gospel and I'm happy that we can all return to our Heavenly Father and be with our families forever.

How I live my faith

I've done a lot of leadership and teaching at the church in my classes, and I love to attend church every week. I love the people in my congregation and whenever we do service or youth activities, I usually know almost everyone and they know me, so it's really easy to feel comfortable.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the most important moment in the entire history of the earth. The Savior took upon him the weight and punishment of the sins of all mankind. He essentially payed the debt of all our sins and we need only believe on him and do His will to accept this great gift. This is all necessary because as humans, we make mistakes and sin, and in order to live with the Father in the end, we must be clean and worthy. The Atonement washes us clean so we can be worthy to come home to our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
