Hi I'm Jacob Munn

I'm from Bakersfield, California and I'm very proud to say that I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an 18 year old kid and I'd have to say the main things that I'm into besides church, obviously, are clothing, skateboarding, and soccer. I'm currently preparing to be a missionary for the Church and am called to serve in the Perú, Arequipa Mission. After which I will begin college at BYU, in January 2019. I like books as well and enjoy learning new things. I'm a perfectionist too, which is good and bad.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into the Church because my parents were members already, my mom is a convert, however. even though I was born into the Mormon church and thus do not know what it's like to be a Catholic, a Baptist, a Buddhist, etc. I do know that this Church is true, there is NO doubt in my mind. I have felt my Heavenly Father's love for me and know that He will help me through all my trials and ups and downs in life, if I live if he would want me to live. I know that we can repent and be forgiven each and every time because our Father loves us. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book, and an another Testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and it is because of his virtuous heart and extremely valiant efforts that the true Gospel of Jesus Christ was able to be restored to the Earth in it's awesome and glorious fullness, and I love that man for that. I love this Church and my deepest desire is to be able to live worthy to return to live with my Heavenly Father in His Kingdom on high. I know He and His Son know me better than I know myself, and know that they would never require anything that I could not do or without providing a way to accomplish the task which is asked of me. I love Them and I know that Their mercy and wisdom is infinite, if only a person will ask for repentance or for help.

How I live my faith

I am very active in the Church and strive to be a good example to my friends and family. I was part of one of the youth groups that envelopes the young men between the ages of 16-17, until a short time after I turned 18. Again I am currently preparing to serve a mission so I presently do not have a calling in my local church building because my calling right now is to successfully prepare for and serve a worthy mission for the Church, this service I have chosen to do for my Church and for God.
