Hi I'm Britton

I grew up in Utah. I'm going out to serve the people of Vietnam. I love soccer and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah and have loved every second of it. I am leaving for two years to serve a mission in Vietnam. I have put off college and work so that I can go out and serve my Savior and I know that is what I must do. I played on my high school soccer team and on competitive soccer teams. I love hunting, camping, fishing, and anything outdoors. I am an Eagle Scout and I was president of the Ambassadors Club in High School. I am a member of National Honors Society and Key Club International, so I love to go out and serve my fellow man.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and have been a member my whole life. My parents and leaders taught me the gospel and I know it to be true. Some people have told me that they don't think I really know it to be true because this is the only church I have been a part of. What they said got me thinking about if I really KNOW for MYSELF if this is the true church and I had a few doubts about it. I didn't want to rely on my parents' testimony so I sought out my own. I read the Book of Mormon all the way through and prayed sincerely to our Heavenly Father. After a lot of effort and study I came to know that this is the true church. I now have a strong testimony and I want to bring other people the joy that I've experienced by being a member of this church. It is the only way to everlasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I try to put Christ at the front of all that I do. I served in leadership positions in my religious youth groups to help my peers build their testimony of their Savior. I am also an 11 year-old scout leader so I get to teach these young men about values and how to be good upstanding citizens. I home teach a few families in my neighborhood and help them develop a relationship with Christ.
