Hi I'm McKenna Brianne Empey

I am a missionary who represents Jesus Christ. I am a student, a violinist, a climber. A daughter of a King. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I will be set apart as a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on September 27th, 2016 and will serve for a period of 18 months in the Ohio Columbus Mission. After that I will attend Utah State University, double majoring in both violin performance and music education, with a minor in American Sign Language. I started playing the violin when I was five. I enjoy climbing at the local gym as well as outdoors, playing ultimate frisbee, and being active in general. Someday I will marry a nice boy who will take me to the temple and buy me a husky and we'll live happily ever after.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the joy that this true and everlasting gospel brings. I want everyone to know it because my life would be incomplete without the truth that it holds. I come from a long line of faithful parents and have received a witness for myself of its truthfulness. I am a Mormon because I am converted to Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it with God's children. I feel the spirit powerfully through music and I find joy in the scriptures as I study and ponder their words. I feel a relationship with my Father in Heaven as I sincerely pray to Him and am guided by the Spirit as I follow His counsel.
