Hi I'm Austin Chamberlain

I grew up in Idaho. I'm an astrophysics major. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mountain man! I grew up in Idaho and love all things outdoor, specifically snow skiing, camping, backpacking, fishing and exploring. I have hiked Weinu Picchu in Peru. I have floated 90 miles down the Kenektoc River in Alaska. I love the adventure and challenge this world gives us; there's always more to find and explore. I'm also huge on singing. I love to Beat Box. It's what I do. I love to sing on the street, in the shower and dance while I'm doing it. Truthfully, I'm a horrible dancer, but that doesn't stop me! I go to BYU - Provo and am on a mission in Germany. I live in Darmstadt, Germany and have the opportunity every day to bring people to Jesus Christ as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because this Church and Gospel has changed my life, my family and me. Life is never easy, but my relationship with the Savior, our Father in Heaven and my awesome family and friends gives so much direction and peace in my life. I know He Lives! This is His Church!! He will be with us every step of the way to follow Him. He lifts me up when I'm down and He joys with me in the high moments. He blesses families. He knows us very individually and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to center my life and my character around the life and character of Jesus Christ. I strive to act as He acted to become more like Him and I love the joy that following Gospel of Jesus Christ brings into our homes. It is Light. When we follow that Light it Lifts us. Life is tough, but when we turn to our Father in heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ all wrong things can be made right. I have seen very first hand tragedies in my life, but that doesn't turn me away from Faith, it only strengthens in.
