Hi I'm Cody

I live in Utah, have been called to serve the Lord, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and am now serving in the Texas Houston South mission. I grew up in Mountain Green/Morgan Utah and have lived there my whole life. Throughout my life I have enjoyed the outdoors and of course sports and stuff. I enjoy hiking, climbing, skiing, soccer, tennis, and a variety of other activities which are not really worth mentioning in this lengthy list. My life focuses a lot on friends and adventuring with them. We have explored the mountains and found many beautiful and unique places. I will be returning from my mission and attending Utah State University and studying business.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a personal testimony of the truth of this gospel as well as the love of my Father in Heaven. I have not heard a voice nor felt the ground shake, yet I have felt the spirit of God as I have studied and participated in the ordinances and teachings of the church. I know that the gospel has been restored upon the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith in these latter days. God continues to give revelation to his children through our current prophet Thomas S. Monson, and also gives personal revelation to each of us. I remain in this church because I continue to learn and grow in my own personal testimony and knowledge. As I continue to learn, the knowledge I gain only strengthens my testimony and resolve for the truth of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everything I do... Well at least I try. I have learned that we all live our faith in everything we do, which of course should be pretty obvious. It's taken some work and I'm not even close to perfect yet, but being on a mission certainly helps to see how I live my faith and show my love/appreciation for the Savior through everything I do. I now am (working at) living my faith in every word, action, and thought. I live my faith by living as Christ did and never always remembering him.
