Hi I'm Rosie

I was born in England. I grew up in Australia. I'm a student in America. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student at BYU-Idaho I'm majoring in psychology. I love the outdoors but am not a fan of heat. I was baptised late but grew up as a Mormon. I've been called to serve in the Missouri, Independence Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church believing what I was taught and living off others testimonies. Eventually it got to the point when I realised I needed to know for myself if the church was true. I felt as though it took more energy and caused more stress than it was worth because I did not know for myself if it was true. I wanted to just leave the church behind but something was encouraging me to keep praying and to hang on. I had one specific prayer that I thought would be my last. My final attempt to get answers and I did. Two distinct answers that came at different times. One that told me loud and clear to hang on a little longer. The other came a few weeks later through a group leader at a church camp. She didn't say anything major just that she knew one of us needed to hear that God know us and was with us. I knew this was for me and that's why I am a Mormon. Since then I have seen Gods hand in every aspect of my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through seemingly small things. I attend church regularly. I pray and read my scriptures daily. I trying to immerse myself in service, though not as often as I should. Most importantly I try everyday to choose the right and improve myself.
