Hi I'm Venessa S. Tanuvasa

I am Samoan, raised in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My full name is Venessa. Born in California, but raised in Utah. I am very outgoing and love to socialize. Super goofy and love to laugh. Things I like to do is sleep, play sports, watch Netflix and chill with my family and friends. I can somewhat play the piano and ukulele. Somewhat sing and dance, I mean, I don't think I'm that bad, other might think I'm terrible at both. I graduated from Dixie High School in St. George, Utah. Went to Utah State University for a year and a half.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised into the church and I can faintly remember my baptism, but one thing I can remember is the Spirit that was felt and the feeling letting me know that I've made the right choice to become a member. I continue following this faith because I have a testimony through all the trails and hardship I've gone through to know that this is the true church on the Earth. That Joseph Smith restored the gospel and so without him, I wouldn't be where I am now and the person I am today. I know that Jesus Christ is Our Savior, Brother, and Redeemer. He sacrificed His life and atoned for our sins so that we may return back to Our Heavenly Father again and l'll get live eternally with my Earthly family. I know that the four books are true and that they are the Word of God and that Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet today. I love this gospel so much and it's helped my love everyone equally and helps me better myself everyday. I leave my testimony with those who read this, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

As of today, I report into the MTC to serve in the Philippines, Quezon North mission. I am super excited to be able to take upon my self the name of Christ and share the gospel and my testimony to those who are willing to listen. Growing up, I've had many callings like, beehive and laurels 2nd counselor, enrollment and retention president for Institute, and so forth. I also went to school and received a scholarship to participate on the leader board of service and I helped plan service projects on campus and the community.
