Hi I'm Taft Holzer

I am 20 years old and currently a Georgia boy. I am spreading God's word to the good people of the South!

About Me

I am a missionary right now for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have fallen in love with the people of the South. #southernhospitality When I move back to Utah in a couple months, I am going to be an entrepreneur. I will start my own businesses in order to achieve my business dreams of helping people stay fit and healthy. I have played many sports over the years. My main sport is Tennis. I love playing any sport though.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I find more joy and satisfaction living the truths that Jesus Christ's church teaches. Nowhere else have I been able to find that joy.

How I live my faith

I have grown up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, I haven't always had a true conviction of the divine nature of my Savior. Like everyone, I have gone through rough roads in my life, but I would not trade any of those for the world. I have seen how they made me into the person I now am. I live and love my faith by not focusing on the past. I cannot control the person I was, but I can mold the person I will become. The most charitable act ever performed in this world's history is Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us. He willingly looked over His aches and pains in order to lift me. This is what I strive to do everyday for others. I strive to be more like my Savior so I can live my faith more completely.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Taft Holzer
God has given us a great gift(our bodies). He created them. Just as if we were to receive a wonderful gift from someone we respect, we would take care of it. If we didn't, that would disrespect the giver of the gift. So it is with our bodies. If we do not take care of them the best we can, we are disrespecting God himself. We have also been given these bodies in order to more effectively serve our brothers and sisters. We can serve longer and harder if our bodies are properly taken care of. Show more Show less
