Hi I'm Kaylee Terry

I grew up in Utah. Am now a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old Mormon. I graduated in the year 2015, and have since completed one year of college then decided that I am going to serve an LDS mission. I was a cheerleader all throughout Junior High and High School, I love watching sports and cheering my friends that are on the field on. I love learning about different cultures, travelling, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

It wasn't until my second semester of my senior year of high school that I really knew and felt why I was Mormon. I was in seminary class, and for the first time in my previous 3 years of seminary, my teacher excited me, he made me want to come to class and participate, he brought the Spirit in so strong that it brought me to tears almost every class period. I wanted to study the scriptures more so that I could participate in class and feel the Spirit testify to me that the things that I was saying were true. I wanted to feel the same Spirit that I felt in class at home. I loved the feeling of being so close to my Savior and having someone who knows EXACTLY how I feel to confide in. He was and is my constant companion and best friend. At that point I wanted everyone in the whole world to feel how I have been feeling. That's what has lead me to where I am now. Serving an LDS mission, spreading this same joy and love to those in need. I love this gospel and I know that it is the true and everlasting gospel. Jesus Christ is my brother, Savior, and Redeemer. He suffered so that I don't have to. He knows me perfectly and knows the pains of my heart and thoughts of my head. He is my confidide. I know that families can be together for all of eternity because of temples and the sacred ordinances that happen in them. I know that Thomas S. Monson is called of God to lead and guide our church and if we abide by what he says then we will find true peace and happiness. I love my Father in Heaven and Savior. And I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am living my faith by serving an LDS mission. I have been called to leave my family for a short period of time so that I can help other families be with each other for eternity. This is a big faith exercise for me because I am leaving everything and everyone behind for a year and a half, but I know with my whole heart that this is exactly what I need to be doing. I couldn't imagine my life any other way right now than serving The Lord and bringing His gospel to those that are searching for it.
