Hi I'm Morgan

I'm a hiker, I'm a history buff, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and the youngest of two. I have a dog named Willy who is the cutest English Springer Spaniel you will ever lay eyes on. I am currently a sophomore at Brigham Young University. I am leaning towards a dual History/Spanish teaching major, but am also considering Dietetics or Public Health. I grew up in a state with lots of National Parks, so I am an avid hiker. I have a passion for traveling, and have been to South America on a humanitarian trip and to eastern Europe for a history study abroad. My next destination will be the Dominican Republic when I leave for my 18 month mission for the Mormon church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this church answers so many of the questions that we all have about life: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here? What happens when I die? Being a Mormon gives me so much comfort and meaning in my life, because I know that what is taught by this church is true. In the bible we read that when we lack wisdom we are to ask God our questions with a sincere heart, and he will provide an answer. I have done this and have had the truth of this church confirmed to me. I am so grateful for this knowledge and for the opportunities I have every day to share it with others so they can also feel the same joy and purpose that I am able to feel because I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying to my Heavenly Father in the name of his son and our savior Jesus Christ, by doing what I can to help and show love to those in need, and by serving a full time mission.
