Hi I'm Alyssa

I grew up and remain in Utah and am called to serve in the Tennessee Knoxville mission. I'm a mormon.

About Me

My favorite things in life are the basics; eat, sleep, pray, repeat. I live for cold hot dogs dipped in tobasco sauce and, of course, my family. I spend a lot of my time enjoying the outdoors hiking, swimming, climbing, skiing, biking, etc. I am a current student and am going into a nursing program.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but I come from a broken family. I was rebellious in my high school years and was not a "true" latter day saint. My testimony was coming from my parent's and I attended church to make my mom happy. She had to fight me to go to church and it resulted in her becoming inactive and me falling completely away from the church. For so long, I didn't realize how much I had closed off opportunities for my family and I because of my selfishness. Through many trials, I began to humble myself and found the truth by doing so. I began to feel the true, not temporal happiness that I had been missing for so long. I wish for every single person on this earth to partake of the fruit of the tree of life and taste its everlasting goodness. I am now an active member of the church of latter day saints and I feel the best I have ever felt in my life.

How I live my faith

I find that the best way to live life to the fullest and to find the greatest happiness is serving those around you. I find ways to serve my family, my elders, and the community through small yet significant acts of kindness. I serve as a ward missionary and have recently been called to serve a full time mission.
