Hi I'm Hailey Wright

I was born and raised in Utah. I am a dancer, cheerleader, tumbler, 4.0 student, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a loving mother and father and I'm the middle child and only girl in my family. I have one older brother and one younger brother. I love to dance and have been dancing since I was in 1st grade. I later switched to cheerleading and have such a passion for it. Through cheerleading I have discovered that I love to exercise and perform in front of a crowd. I love to meet new people and make lots of friends. I love to learn people's names and make them laugh and smile. I recently graduated from high school with a 4.0 GPA, and I have accepted a mission call to Seoul, South Korea.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church my whole life. My mom became a member when she was young and my dad converted to the church when he was an adult. I got to go to primary every week when I was a kid and it always felt like the right thing to do. When I got older I was able to develop my own testimony and knowledge of how true this church is. I remember my baptism day and the feeling I got when I came up out of the water. I had never felt so good in my whole life as I felt in that moment. I later read the Book of Mormon all the way through and took Moroni's challenge and prayed to know if it was true. My prayer was answered and I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church restored on the Earth today. I know that God has provided us, His children, with a living prophet today to lead and guide us. I know that when we are struggling and experiencing the trials that life brings, Heavenly Father is only a prayer away. He is waiting to hear from His children and eager to help them at all times. He is happy when we are happy and He weeps with us when we are struggling. He is always there if we will just turn to Him. I am so grateful for the gospel and to be a member of this church. I know that I have a purpose in life and that Heavenly Father has a plan for me. Every trial I go through is to shape me into exactly who I'm supposed to be. I feel at peace knowing that everything I go through will be for my good and it makes me so happy. Ultimately the church brings such happiness. It is such a happy message and the church is full of happy people. How wonderful it is knowing that I get to be with my family forever and that I'll get to one day live in Heaven with my Heavenly Father again. I love this church and I love being a Mormon!!!

How I live my faith

I have accepted a mission call to go serve in South Korea and I'm so excited to be able to teach others about the gospel and the happiness that comes with living it. I want to help bring people to Christ and experience peace and comfort through the atonement. Right now I live my faith by attending church every week. I get to teach the 4-5 year olds in primary and it is such a joy. Their bright smiling faces always make me so happy. I love being able to teach them and share my testimony of simple truths with them. Praying morning and night is another part of living my faith. Praying is the best way to start my day. I love being able to thank my Heavenly Father for blessings that He has given me and also ask for help when experiencing trials. I get to read the scriptures daily and go to the temple often. I am fortunate enough to have temples close to where I live and I go there at least once a week to do service and feel the happiness I get from being in the Lord's house. I love living my life in faith and I love being a Mormon.
