Hi I'm Charity Atkin

Student from Utah and soon to be missionary in João Pessoa, Brazil! Im a mormon!

About Me

I am the youngest child of a large family. I love my people and I love to laugh with them. I have recently been a student at Utah Valley University studying to become a dental Hygienist, but I am taking a break to serve a full-time mission in Brazil. I love to have projects to keep myself busy, such as many DIY Pinterest ideas. I am a lover of white cheddar popcorn and Reeses fast break candy bar. My dreams are to serve a mission, travel and one day go on a humanitarian trip, marry my best friend in the temple, and start a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be born into a family that was already mormon and sealed to be together forever in the Temple. As we have all grown up, several of my siblings did not stay within the church. But as I went on with my life, I began to grow my own belief in its teachings and it deepened as I studied and searched to answer any questions that I had. I have seen the blessings of living my life within this church and I don't ever intend on leaving. I believe in miracles and I have experienced them. That is why I am a mormon. Not because my parents or siblings forced me to be, but because I learned it, tested it, experienced it, and I find it all to be true, real, and GOOD :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to be accepting to everyone. I try to love as my Savior loves and be an example as well. I am currently serving in my church as a ward missionary. It is my responsibility to attend the meetings and discuss how to best help anyone within our area who may be investigating our church and to do my best to fellowship those I meet with.
