Hi I'm Eliza

I'm from Texas. I'm a lover of all things clever and witty. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm the fifth of six children. I have two older brothers, two older sisters, and a younger brother. My family's home has always been full of people and life. Growing up I had a wide variety of pets, from dogs to hedgehogs, parrots to snakes. Certainly, life was never boring! I believe in laughter and I'm always looking for reasons to smile. I believe that joy can be found in any situation if we take the time to look for it. I love reading and writing. If I can make someone crack a smile because of something I wrote, I consider myself successful!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because there's nothing else in this world that brings me more joy than the gospel of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I've felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me that this is His full truth. I've found happiness and peace in a world full of sorrow as I've strived to live according to the way the Lord has commanded us to. The closer I am to Christ, the happier and stronger I am.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith everyday by serving and uplifting those around me. I've been blessed to serve my ward as a family history consultant. I've taught family history lessons to groups, families, and individuals. I'm also my ward chorister. I have the opportunity to stand in front of the congregation each week and lead them in singing praises to our Savior. I've also loved completing my visiting teaching assignments as I've visited with sisters in my ward and developed friendships with them.
