Hi I'm Abigale Pound

I was born into a lovely LDS (Mormon) family and I love them. I am proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I was in Marching Band for the fall semester for all three years of High School. During the spring semester of High School, I ran in Track and Field. I finished one year of college and am waiting to serve an LDS mission in the states.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I was not always happy being in the church, my High School years were rough with my friends. They were not always the kindest people, which created a barrier between the church and myself. When I attended my first year of college at the beginning I did not attend church at all. I was very lost. I called my best friend who was very active in the church all the time because I was so confused and upset. We did not attend the same college. Most of my guy friends were already serving or preparing to serve, through their example I decided to pray. I felt peace and since that day, I have not doubted the gospel and its teachings again. One of my friends pointed out that the way my friends acted and the things they said were not the gospel. He said that the gospel is God's church, it doesn't change and it teaches love. People in the church are not perfect and that if they choose to be mean and hurtful, it is on them, but our Father in heaven does not teach his children that. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy, happier than anything else has ever made me. I am a Mormon because it makes sense, the gospel is very simple, everyone can understand it should they choose. I am a Mormon because I KNOW the teachings to be true. I KNOW that Christ atoned for EACH of our sins. I KNOW that families can be together forever, which is such a comfort. I am a Mormon because it is the TRUE church, and through trials in my own life I have come to know of the TRUTH that is taught by The Church of Jesus Christ, The Mormons, The LDS Church. It is very much true. I am grateful and feel very blessed to have the gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

The best way I think that I am living my faith is trusting in the Lord, and showing that to my fellow peers, neighbors and friends. By showing that I am happy with where I am, by continually striving to do my best and being happy throughout trials and tribulations I think is the best way at least for me to live my faith. If I am able to do those things, then I will be able to help others onto the path of eternal life, and that is the best thing in the world.
