Hi I'm Garrett

I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and Helena, Montana. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I moved to Montana, right before 7th grade, I started to play football. I continued playing football all the way until I graduated high school. I also tried track and tennis in high school but football is the only school sponsored sport that stuck with me. I also love to skin in the winter and wakeboard and surf in the summer. I plan to attend Brigham Young University when I return from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon. Both of my parents have also been Mormon their whole lives. I choose to continue to live the gospel because I can feel that it is true. I have a very strong testimony in the Plan of Salvation. When I was 15, my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. She took chemo for a year but ended up passing away when I was 16. Through the Plan of Salvation, I know that I will be able to see her again. Knowing this helped me get through her death and my testimony was greatly strengthened throughout the whole process.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always striving to be the best person I can be. I also recently got my calling to serve my mission in Peru Lima South. As a youth in the church, I was always a president or counselor in my age group so I helped to plan the activities for the youth all the time.
