Hi I'm Gayle W.

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV, USA. I am a wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and a believer of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I love everything that has to do with being a homemaker. I enjoy cooking/baking, sewing, organizing, reading good books, working in my flower garden, crafting, decorating for the holidays, leisurely bike rides, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I grew up in a warm and stable environment and desire to create that for my children and grandchildren. I enjoy work and staying busy!

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ means everything to me. It defines who I am and who I am trying to become. As I internalize the Gospel principles and teachings and let them work in my life they will have a transforming power that will help me to be faithful and stay on the path back to my Heavenly Father. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church upon the face of the earth and that it contains the fullness of truth and knowledge. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and that He performed the atonement out of His great love for each of us. I know that through Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith restored this gospel back to the earth and that we have the opportunity and blessing to be a part of this great work through our love and example to others! I love the Gospel! It is TRUE!

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church, it has always been a blessing for me. Through those experiences of working and serving in many capacities and through time spent in preparation I have been blessed far more than those I have served. I have had the opportunity to work with young children, youth and adults in the many organizations of the church. I love the tenderness, honesty and pureness of young children. They are so teachable and innocent. I can see why the Savior wants us to become as they are! As I have served all ages of Heavenly Fathers children, I most enjoy the times when I am allowed to feel a small portion of what He feels for them. All of His children...within or without of the church...are valuable and loved in His eyes. It is our charge to learn to love them and see them as He does.
