Hi I'm Francie

I grew up in Hurricane, Utah. I have three children and eight grandchildren. I'm a retired school teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in a family of four girls gave me three best friends for life. I'm very social and energetic. My hobbies include reading, running, biking, and interacting with my grandkids. I have three children and eight grandchildren. I'm a retired school teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a small, predominantly Mormon town was the perfect life for me. My family was active in the church, and I was surrounded by good examples of people living the gospel. One particular Primary teacher taught me the importance of developing my own testimony and steps to follow in gaining a testimony. As a teenager, I had a special MIA teacher who took much time and interest in teaching me how to make good decisions. I loved and admired her. Leaving home to attend college was very challenging to me. Roommates of other faiths, professors who thought differently than I did, being asked on dates by nonmembers was all so new to me. I soon realized that I had to stand on my own two feet and be an example to others. My testimony was tested and strengthened during those years. I know that we have a Heavenly Father who knows and loves us. I love our Prophet. Following his guidance brings me peace and understanding.

How I live my faith

Presently, I teach adults in my ward. I help organize events for women in my ward. My favorite service is teaching Young Single Adults. I'm privileged to visit teach three wonderful women on a monthly basis. Volunteering as a reading tutor in an elementary school is enjoyable to me.
