Hi I'm Shanae

I grew up in Riverton Utah, I'm a Mormon or should I say LDS and I have been my whole life, and I wouldn't change it for anything.

About Me

I'm a Mormon have been my whole life! I love sports basketball, softball, flag football, volleyball and most other sports. I love art mostly drawing, ceramics and even sewing. I enjoyed my childhood with friends and family, I love the outdoors that God created I enjoy camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing. I love spending time with my family in all activities. Right now I am working at IFA Country Stores and I have been graduated from high school for 4 years now and I am preparing myself to go on a mission in the North Dakota Bismarck Mission in September of 2016. I'm super excited and can't wait to get out there.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been LDS since I've been born and wouldn't Change it for the world! I have been taught the gospel and gained my own testimony of the church, I have a testimony of the Priesthood Power held by worthy Priesthood Holders by Men. I've had many priesthood blessing through out my life whether it was for school, work or even being sick. One in particular that I remember was when I had a bone cyst in my right upper arm when I was 8 and my dad gave me a blessing and when we went back to the Primary Children's Hospital to check it out the next day, the cyst was no where to be found except my bone is hollow now (no marrow in my right upper arm). I'm doing great and still have an arm and bouncing around and still playing sports to the fullest. I also have a testimony of personal revelation through the Holy Ghost this year I've been praying about going on a mission and have received my answer through prayer and scripture study and have been told (2 Chronicles 29:11) which was to no longer neglect the duties of The Lord so I prayed on when to go because I still didn't know when and was scared to go, then I read (Matthew 11:28-30) which was to labor unto The Lord and he will make my burdens light, but still didn't know when and I felt the impression to read on. The very next verse I read was (Matthew 12:1) which stated Jesus went on the Sabbath into the corn unto his disciples, I felt as if I needed to tell the bishop on Sunday that I was going to go on a mission on Sunday April 10th, When I got in the car that day to go to Church "Glorious" by David Archuleta came on and I felt this over whelming peace that this was the right decision especially when I heard the words "there's a purpose its been there within you all along" so here I am, I have my call now and I'm getting ready to serve in the North Dakota Bismarck Mission. I love this gospel with all my heart and hope to serve to the best of my abilities. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith
