Hi I'm Travis Austin Steele

I grew up in Pinedale Wy. I'm a total nerd. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love math. I'm into Doctor Who, video games, comic books, and many other nerdy stuff. I just graduated High School and I'm about to leave on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but at first I didn't believe in it. My family was basically inactive and rarely showed up to church. When I was baptized, I saw a vision of Jesus Christ and I felt clean joyful. I never realized how unclean I was until that day when it was all washed away. I got to the point in my life eventually where I realized that I didn't care about anything and it scared me. I figured I better learn to start caring including caring about what God tells me to do. I eventually found out we should read our scriptures and pray every day. It took me three years to get into a habit of reading and praying every day and of going to church on a regular basis and in that time I finally read the Book of Mormon, by myself, cover to cover. After this I had full faith in him and his gospel and in an attempt to ask for forgiveness for my sins, I heard a distinct voice telling me I am forgiven. I have struggled many times since then but I always feel God's undying love for me and I know that he is always there to help me. People ask me why I'm going on a mission and I tell them that nobody ever pushed me to go, I never felt the pressure of others making me go, it is 100% my choice because God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost sacrificed everything for me so I should give everything to them.

How I live my faith

Whenever there is something going on or somebody needs help I am known as the guy who will always be there. I have served callings of teaching younger kids and of being a ward missionary and I'm about to be a full time missionary.
