Hi I'm Sabrina

I was born into the church in Southern California. I am now serving a full-time mission in the North Dakota Bismarck Mission.

About Me

I am currently serving my mission in North Dakota Bismarck. Prior to this I had the chance to go to BYU-Idaho for a year. I loved the people I interacted with, as well as, the spirit that was in Rexburg! I enjoy traveling, playing the piano, and serving. I grew up with a big family and love that this gospel emphasizes on the family.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into the church, I felt that I wasn't truly converted until I was in high school. As my parents and leaders pushed me to do my personal progress I finally started to understand what the church stood for. The personal progress requires the young women to read The Book of Mormon and I remember as I read about Jesus Christ visiting in 3 Nephi, I could feel the spirit so strong. It testified to me that Christ lives and loves us all. I feel that with this gospel, there is always more to learn and I love the concept of it! I am amazed by the fact that we have a Savior that allows us to progress even when we mess up. I love Christ and will always be grateful for His sacrifice. I believe that the Plan of Salvation was made so that we could all be happy and return to live with our Heavenly Father and Savior again. I'm glad that I was sealed in 2004 to my family and get to live with them forever.

How I live my faith

My testimony really started to grow while I was in the Young Women's program. Since then, I have strongly believed that the youth programs in the church were essential to the youths' growth. My last couple months in my hometown, I did my best to help out with the Young Women by teaching them gospel principles and pushing them to finish their personal progess. I've also found a lot of joy and peace through playing the church hymns. I could truly feel the spirit as I listen and play and am grateful for this talent that I am continuing to work on. After being endowed I have made it a goal to attend the temple every week. I've felt more strength and peace as I've done so. Lastly I've pushed myself to do more service and have felt happier since!
