Hi I'm Sheena

I was born in the Philippines. Raised in Canada. Called to serve in the Canada Edmonton Mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My parents were both converts and I am so blessed to have been raised knowing that I am a daughter of God. I'm the eldest of 3 daughters. I'm studying business in university. I enjoy journal writing, music, serving others, exploring and meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel helps me live a better life. Heavenly Father knows my potential and we can become our best selves, through living in harmony with the commandments He has placed for us. Through small and simple things are great things brought to past. So as we continue to pray, read the scriptures and attend church, we can feel of His love and have more peace in our lives.

How I live my faith

I am a visiting teaching supervisor and am also part of the YSA Activities Committee for my Stake. It is a blessing to serve my fellow brothers and sisters. As a committee we organize events to bring the young single adults together. We pick activities that will encourage interactions, friendships and where the Spirit can linger. I know that "when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." (Mosiah 2:17)
