Hi I'm Ethan Booker

I grew up in Sin City. I'm serving a mission in South America. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 and just recently graduated high school. During my high school years, I did Wrestling and played Volleyball. I love cycling and backpacking, I've done two 100 mile bike rides and a few 50 miler backpacking trips. I like hanging out with my friends and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon for all of my life. Both my parents are Mormon and I've gone to church my whole life. However, that is not the reason that I am a Mormon. During some of my high school years, I began to wonder if I really believed in the church or if I just kept going because of my parents. It was a real struggle for me, and I was afraid that I didn't have the strong testimony everybody thought I did. Through prayer and lots of patience, I realized all the amazing things that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings. I found the need for a Christ and His sacrifice, and I realized that this gospel has made me who I am today. Because of the church, I strive to be a better person all the time and it makes everyone else try to be better too. I think the world really needs more good people in it, and it really needs the hope that the gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday and going to youth activities on Wednesdays and occasionally on the weekends. In church I play hymns on the piano every week. The hymns are some of my favorite songs to play because they help me remember Christ, and lots of them are really pretty too.
