Hi I'm Garrett Briggs

I have been called to serve the Lord in the Birmingham Alabama Mission. God lives. God loves you. You are a child of God!

About Me

I was raised in a small town in Montana. Being raised on a farm, I grew to appreciate hard work. I love to ride horses and be outdoors. I graduated from a high school with around 120 students 9-12. During high school, I participated in Cross Country, Track, and Basketball. I also enjoyed playing trumpet and tuba in the band, singing in Choir, and performing on the drama stage. I'm a member of National Honors Society, a former Interact member, and an Eagle Scout. In my free time I love to go camping and ride dirtbikes/ atvs. I also love to sing. I love all types of music. I am currently serving as a full time missionary in Birmingham Alabama. I am very excited to help Gods children. I look forward to learning and speaking the Spanish Language. After my mission I plan to attend BYU to obtain a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because, I have studied the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have studied the Book of Mormon, and I have studied the bible. I have prayed to know if what I studied was true. I received an answer. It never came to me as a big revelation, but rather many small heart touching experiences. It's these many experiences that have given me my testimony. The continuation of having these experiences keeps me going on the right path

How I live my faith

I love going to church. Sometimes I'm tired and struggle to stay awake, but if I really focus and pay attention, I always learn something. I loved attending church group and participating in the scouting program as a youth. During my high school years, I attended Seminary. What's that? Well, seminary is a class where We study the gospel and read the scriptures. My seminary class was before school. Yes, It was early in the morning but it was so worth it. Seminary class has helped increase my knowledge and testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ. I am currently living my faith by serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
