Hi I'm Kent Simonson

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I served in the air force for four years. I am a Mormon. I am married and have four children.

About Me

I have been married for 51 years. I have four children and nine grandchildren. As a young man I loved to go hunting and fishing. I loved playing basketball and enjoyed doing this until I was 60 years old, with friends and family. I am an avid BYU fan with season tickets to football games for over 44 years. I love to watch basketball also. I enjoyed skiing with my family in the beautiful mountains. I loved going camping with my family. I also was a medic in the air force.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were not active members of the church, but there always seemed to be something and someone there to help me stay active and participate in the church functions. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the true church upon the earth today. I also know Joseph Smith is and was a prophet and he translated the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ and I know this book to be true.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. I have enjoyed sharing my testimony with many members and non-members throughout my life. I have been able to tell others about my church through the assignments that I have been given through the church. I have had the privilege to hold many positions where I could serve and strengthen the testimonies of others. I enjoyed being a home teacher where I could visit and help meet the needs of many.
