Hi I'm Brendan Clark

I'm a simple guy with big hopes. I love nature and the ocean. I'm kind and friendly. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Murry, Utah and moved down south to West Monroe, Louisiana when I was barely one. I am the oldest of four. I'm an outgoing introvert- I can be shy and reserved, but I'm super friendly and like to be social. In school, I played clarinet in band and was apart of numerous clubs, including the Student Council. I love the outdoors and all animals. Ever since I was little, I've been fascinated with the ocean and marine life, and I have always wanted to become a marine biologist. I'm not 100% sure that is what I want to do anymore, but I have faith I'll find out eventually. In the near future, however, I'll be busy serving a mission in the Utah, St. George mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I might have been born a member of the church, but I still sometimes had doubt and confusion regarding its truthfulness. With faith, I endured, and I eventually was blessed with my own private and personal assurance of the truthfulness of the gospel. The church offers a wonderful and comforting environment. Everyday, the support of my family, friends from church, and the gospel itself, provides me with the strength I need to overcome daily obstacles. I can always rely on the church when I'm down or in a difficult situation. The gospel also gives me meaning and direction on this earth. Through the gospel, I know that I have a purpose for being here and play a role in our Heavenly Father's plan, as we all do. I know I've received so many blessings by following the teachings and commandments, and I am made so very happy and joyful through the gospel.

How I live my faith

As a Mormon, I try to be an example to others. I always make sure to keep my standards. I also let my close friends who aren't Mormon know my standards so they not only try not to peer pressure me in negative ways, but they also have expectations of me and even help me keep those standards. I'm always kind to everyone
