Hi I'm Sydney

I grew up in Utah. I am currently serving my mission in Canada Winnipeg. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up playing soccer, and enjoying school. My mom was born into the LDS religion, my dad was a convert. I have two sibilings, who are both married in the temple. I will attend college once I am home from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints, which has been a major blessing in my life. While growing up I once had a conversation with my mom, and I only remember her saying that we will want our kids to be in the church because it's so important. I've always had an amazing support system but there are those times that I get confused, let down, even to a point where I wish to give up. But every time, no matter how big or small, I find that the Savior has always been there and has always uplifted me. One thing that I truly love about this religion, that it isn't only for the sad parts, it is for every minute of every day. I am a Mormon because I would not be anything close to the person I am today without this church. I am a Mormon because I love it. I love standing for this church and having the Holy Ghost with me at all times.

How I live my faith

I have always loved Wednesday mutual night with my ward. It was my favorite thing growing up because I knew it was not only a fun place but a safe one. Where everyone was nice and we all got along. My ward is very supportive and we love to spend time with each other. I have been in the Presidency of my young women's age group almost every year. I was called to Primary after I finally decided to grow up. Which is an amazing experience to work with those little kids.
