Hi I'm Alex Roach

I grew up in Las Vegas, love arts and crafts, love to smile, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

To start off, i love anything artsy. Crafts and anything creative are my passions! I grew up loving making beautiful arts and sharing the joy of art, and that love only keeps growing while I'm serving in the Portland, Oregon mission as a full-time Missionary. I love stuff that makes me think, whether it's a puzzle, good book, or an honest question. I'm always learning and finding ways to improve what we already have. i hope to someday turn that talent into a useful tool and make it a profession. For now I spread the gospel to the amazing people of Oregon, and make crafts to uplift and inspire people. At times i find myself the happiest when im making gifts for others, and i dont think that's a coincidence. i believe that we have talents to share to the people we meet, and that joy is best shared!

Why I am a Mormon

Though i grew up with parents in the church, i decided to live my faith and truly stay in the church as i became a young adult. i saw the goodness in the people, and the joy it brought to me! I wanted to stay in the church that my parents raised me in, and ive been there ever since

How I live my faith

I love serving others, which includes such a wide range of things. I love doing things that show people i care about them, that i think about them, and that they are important. Growing up as a middle child, i guess i wanted to show others that they are important and arent forgotten. I love inspiring others by example and always being a source of comfort, and never getting annoyed when they earnestly are seeking help. That has really helped me grow to love the people whom i serve with daily in Portland as a missionary, where im daily trying to show them the gospel and how much joy it brings to us all!
