Hi I'm Shay Phillips

I am from a small town in Idaho....I am nineteen years old....and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Shay and I was born and raised in a small town in Idaho. My mom is a wedding planner and my dad is an agronomist. I am the second to youngest in my family. I have two brothers and three sisters, all being married but one. Growing up, I enjoyed singing, dancing, and cheerleading. I am also serving as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the New Jersey, Morristown mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have grown to love how the Gospel has positively impacted my life. It has given me help and guidance through struggles, gratitude during the good times, and a guide on how to live my life. I give credit to my religion for anything in my life that has given me strength and happiness and that is why I will continue being Mormon for eternity.

How I live my faith

I was given the opportunity to be a secretary and president twice in Young Women's, while being a youth. When I was a sophomore in high school, I was able to be a leader on Trek which was a neat experience where I was able to receive a glimpse of what the pioneers went through. I was able to continue my church leadership experience by receiving the opportunity to invite others to come unto Christ by becoming a missionary.
