Hi I'm Brenton

I live in Utah, I'm 18 years old, and was born and raised as a mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Utah all of my life - same house, same city, same state. I'm 18 years old, and was born and raised as a mormon. Now that's not to say that I'm completely naive about, or oblivious of, the world around me. I have had many doubts, and have wondered plently about religion in general. My parents give me a lot of freedom when it comes to what I want to believe and the choices I want to make. Despite the doubts, (and ultimately because of the doubts), however, my testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is as firm as it has ever been, and after hours and hours of studying, I know that this church is a source of truth. I'm still very young and have a lot to learn as my life goes on. I will attend BYU in 2018, and have been called to serve as a missionary in the Marshall Islands for 2016-2018.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Joseph Smith was prophet of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to love and serve others and by trying to keep the commandments of God. "Try" is a keyword here, because I am not perfect - no one is. But that's exactly what is so great about the Gospel of Jesus Christ; No one is expected to go through life perfectly, but we are all expected to sincerely and genuinely try, and that it what I strive to do every day.
