Hi I'm Chris

I believe that anything is possible through sincere study and diligent practice. I am a Mormon and I love the gospel.

About Me

I love to see new things and enjoy travelling to different places. I love to read books that I find interesting and try to imagine what happens. I enjoy taking pictures and posing them on Instagram so that I can help others realize that the world is still a beautiful place. I love to play any games that require energy and physical activity but I mostly prefer basketball and swimming. I also like to do activities that help me gain knowledge because I believe in the statement, "knowledge is an advantage". I also enjoy writing my feelings or experiences down, sometimes in the form of poetry.

Why I am a Mormon

I find no flaw in the gospel and the promises are sure. I have understood more about it as I continue to ponder the scriptures, attending church classes, and praying to my Heavenly Father. The gospel has done nothing to me but make me a better person. Living the gospel only makes me happy. I respect the leaders of the church and try to follow their counsel to me and the church. I know the church is true for It's foundation is laid upon Christ. The living the gospel is the best preparation I have to becoming a loving husband and father.

How I live my faith

I enjoy reading the scriptures and praying to Heavenly Father, doing this helps me see the good in life and the Hands of God in everyday life. I love my family and also my friends and I try be kind to them always. I believe that Heavenly Father truly does give to all what we truly desire, and what we truly desire is also what our Heavenly Father desires for us as well which is to be eternally happy. I have experienced trials and challenges in my life but I always try to get back on my feet and make the best out of everything, continually asking God to help me be happy again. One day, I want to marry a righteous daughter of God in the temple and be a loving husband and father.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Mormons also believe in the Holy bible and treat it sacredly, for it is the word of God. I have always included reading the Bible in my daily scripture study for there are many principles that I can learn from it. I read it with the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Jesus Christ because together they help me understand more about the gospel. I think of the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon, along with other church resources (Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine and Covenants, Liahona, etc.) like a team that supports one another and helps me know the will of God better. What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

What differentiates our lifestyle is only how we choose to live the gospel. We read the scriptures daily, pray daily, and seek to do what is good daily. We follow our standards of the church which is to seek anything that is virtuous, lovely, or of good report, or praiseworthy. Otherwise, we are like everyone else. We obey the leaders of our country, we go to work to provide for our needs, we go to school and learn, etc. Show more Show less
