Hi I'm Jessie Riley

I grew up in a military town in Idaho. I love helping people, and playing the piano. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I work at a cheese factory as a line worker. I love to play piano, play tennis, draw, read, and watch TV. I am planning on going to college after I serve my mission. I've done some amounts of community service, and I love making people smile and laugh by doing something helpful for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints to be true. I believe it to be true because it has helped me through my life. I always had wondered when I was younger that if I was still going to do the mistakes I had done. I didn't want that. I then thought to the fact that I'd heard in church my whole life. I am a child of God, he loves me and he wants me to return to him. He also doesn't want me to keep making the mistakes I had. I knew right then that he was reaching his arms out to me, begging me to return. He wants me to return to him in heaven. So, I repented and I started to read the Book of Mormon. I read it mainly to prove a point, that I could actually read it. When I finished it, I felt the spirit. In which it told me that the things the prophets in it had gone through was true. And so ever since then, I've realized that the gospel of this church has helped me and it gives me so much joy and I want to share that with others.

How I live my faith

I participate in going to church every Sunday. I am planning on going on a mission in the Atlanta Georgia North mission, and I'll be reporting the the Missionary Training Center on November 9th, 2016. I don't have any callings in the church, other than going on a mission and I'm super excited!
