Hi I'm Camille

I am a USU Aggie, I love to sing and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the seventh of eight children. I have many nieces and nephews who I try tirelessly to convince that I am their favorite aunt. No matter how much they hate to admit it, we all know it is true. ;) I love to sing, dance, goof off, and just be me. I also love not making decisions... So I often find myself pressing forward with faith in Christ. Whether that is making a decision about school, work, or various life changing choices, I have to turn to my Savior and press forward!

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 19 years, I went to college for the first time and I found out quickly that it was going to be a hard ride. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and ended up finishing my Associate's Degree from the comfort of my home all online. When I finished my degree, I had battled through some challenging emotions and learned how to combat my negative thoughts and feelings with the Lord's help. So I decided it was time to try living away from home again. I went up to school and low and behold things got difficult. But again, I turned to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I found strength to get through the hard times. I thanked him everyday for every little thing I could find thanks for--the right amount of milk for my cereal, making the yellow light when running late, the fact that someone remembered my name in a class--any thing I could thank God and Jesus Christ for, I did. And by turning to them in gratitude and thanks I was able to find the good and find happiness. I still struggle but I have been able to find ways to make it through the hard times with the strength and guiding hand of my Savior.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by talking with those around me about how Jesus Christ can and does change each of our lives. Jesus Christ and His atonement is the center of my faith. He lives and loves me. I love to share my faith with words and song. Currently, I am serving a mission for our Savior to teach others how to follow Him. Like I said earlier I hate making decisions. It was a long struggle deciding whether to serve or not (frankly, I was terrified and didn't want to go). But after many proddings of the spirit, I stepped forward with faith in Christ and continue to do so everyday.
