I'm Joseph Gohi, 23 years old. I live in Ghana but am an Ivorian.

About Me

My name is Joseph Yode Gohi, am 23 years old. Am an Ivorian and I live in Ghana since I was 19 years old with my brother family. Am a student and right now ready to go on mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were members of a church called Christianisme Celeste and I was born in that church. I learned from my parents that they've baptized me in that church when I was baby. But I stopped following my parents to church latter on when I was 14 years getting to 15 years of age. My first week of arrival in Accra Ghana, my brother and his family invited me to worship with them in thier church and from that time I started following them every Sunday to church. Then the missionary started teaching me and I got baptize with the proper authority. At the beginning, I was going to church because of my brother and I was not participating in anything at church. But, when I receive my first calling-Secretary to the Youngmen Presidency, I began adapting to the language and also understanding the teaching. After a couple of times, I received a call to serve as a ward missionary for seven weeks. That is where I got my testimany-through prayers and teaching and I got motiveted to go and serve a full time mission.

How I live my faith

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints as soon that I came to live with my brother and is family because they were already members. It was not easy for me at that time to really understand the gospel because I was not speaking English at that time. But during the time, after one year, I was call as young man secretary and from that time it follows whit other calling... Word missionary and now family history Consolather.
