Hi I'm /jacob Theriault

My name is Jacob Theriault, and I'm a mormon! I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, but moved to Herriman, Utah in the beginning of 2014

About Me

I am 18 years old and am about to serve a mission in Warsaw, Poland! I love my family and just about any sport. I love the gospel so much, and am anxious to serve my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church because I know it's true. The gospel is put together so beautifully, and makes total sense. I've gained witnesses that God loves me, and that Jesus Christ truly did suffer for me, and my sins. I love being a part of a church that emphasizes that so heavily. The Book of Mormon is true, and coincides with the Bible. I know that Joseph Smith restored the church, and translated the Book of Mormon so we can read it, and share it today. I love priesthood power and the service that comes along with that power. I love our prophet, Thomas S. Monson, who truly speaks the words God wants us to hear. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My senior year in high school I served as part of the seminary council. It was an amazing experience. Also, about half-way through my senior year, I was released from being first assistant to the bishop, who is in charge of the ward. I love being a home teacher, and am always anxious to go visit the families my companion and I are assigned to. Overall, the church is incredible, and has given me many opportunities to serve.
