Hi I'm Aaron

I'm a boy scout, a writer, and I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm more of a nerd than anything else. I like reading and watching movies and TV. The longer the book, the deeper the plot, the better the story. I like playing table top games, especially role playing games. I love being in the outdoors, but I can't get out there as often as I'd like. Dirt bikes, hunting, camping, occasionally fishing are all on the to-do list. I plan on majoring in engineering when I go to college, but I also want to start up a smallish animation studio with my high school chums. I love to work with my hands, building, drawing, piano, guitar, leather, metal working. I'm not great at any of those, but I love them so no one can stop me. What I love most is writing. Telling a story, sharing an idea, touching a soul. I aspire to be a published author and a lifetime disciple of Christ. A comprehensive list of my life goals is as follows: -Complete my full time mission for the Church. -Be married in the temple and be a loving husband and father. -Start a small animation studio. -Start a band. -Be a defining author in the next age of American literature, ending post-modernism and starting a third Great Awakening. -Rescue Marvel, inc. from the clutches of the Disney Corporation, as well as acquire Detective Comics and rectify both timelines into their idealized forms. -Do volunteer community service as I travel the world with my wife. -Get a master's degree in engineering and a jurist doctorate in general law. -Start a tech firm. -Earn 3 or 4 Nobel Peace Prizes.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. Following the teachings of Christ and his servants and trying my best to be a better person through the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me purpose, joy, and clarity in my life. There's something about having beliefs and faith to stand on that can strengthen you against the world. Other people I see around me at school or just in life, can't respond to hardship the same way. They crumble, they give up, they lose hope. I do not, because I know I have a Father in Heaven, and a bishop, and a quorum, and a family, who will all help me when I need it. And I can have the opportunity to serve them if they ask me. Through the power of God, I can help others to find relief from the sorrows of the world on the shores of His Kingdom, by being an example of Christ in their lives and showing them His infinite love for them.

How I live my faith

I'm serving a proselyting mission for the LDS church in Hungary, where I'll serve for two years on a volunteer basis.
