Hi I'm Ariel

I'm a true-blue Texan trying to find my place in the world, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy listening to and playing music. I love being out in the sun, climbing trees, taking walks, and playing on playgrounds.

Why I am a Mormon

I am an active member of this church because when I am, I'm happy. The guidelines I've learned and follow have helped me develop charity, understanding, and self-love. I know that I have a purpose here and I have a Heavenly Father who supports me. He is a God who is all-loving, all-knowing, and good; and I can always rely on Him. I rely on Christ's power and empathy to help me get up when I fall and to keep going when times get hard. Being a Mormon not only surrounds me with others who are more than willing to encourage me, it also teaches me how to ask for heavenly assistance, how to identify such assistance, and how to be of assistance to others who also need help. I believe that the good news of His gospel directs me to my purpose here on this earth, and that the consequences of following Christ's Way will always lead to happiness.

How I live my faith

I served in the Nursery every Sunday for quite a while, and I loved it! Those little kids are so full of life that it's impossible to walk into the room without breaking into a huge smile. I also fill in if we're short a piano or organ player. Being a part of worshipful music is faith-building and heartening. Right now, I'm serving a full-time mission. It's hard work, but it's good work and I feel successful and filled in a new and singular way.
