Hi I'm Cody

I'm from Idaho. I've just received my mission call to Oaxaca, Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a big fan of sports, especially wrestling. In high school I was a state runner up. Growing up in Idaho, I have grown to love the outdoors. Hiking, fishing, hunting, swimming, etc. are favorite past times of mine. I have recently received my mission call to the Oaxaca, Mexico Mission. After that I plan on attending Idaho State University to study Pre-Physical Therapy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I didn't really have a testimony of this church until I was in middle school. Since then, I have felt much joy in the gospel as my testimony has continued to grow. I have come to know that every aspect of this church is true, and that is why it is the only true church. Having faith in pure doctrine like Christ's Atonement, and the Plan of Salvation is very comforting, and provides much peace. The gospel has a been a rock that I have been able to build a solid foundation on. It has gotten me through every challenge I have faced with relative ease. I know this is the true church, and that God loves us.

How I live my faith

In the LDS church I have had many opportunities to serve. These opportunities range from helping people move to cleaning up yards for those who are unable to do so themselves. Being a youth in the church, I have been able to support and be supported by those who are close to the same age. I have also been blessed to home teach amazing families once a month. Everything I do in the church is spiritually rewarding.
