Hi I'm Austin Alder

I was born in Mesa Arizona, I play football, I love to sing, I love Student Council, Nutella is my passion, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am super outgoing and optimistic. I love public speaking. I play football, baseball, ultimate frisbee, the piano, and the ukulele. I love adrenaline inducing activities. (i.e. skydiving, hiking, cliff jumping, etc.) I love to wake-board, water-ski, snow-ski, ride dirt-bikes, sing, and watch movies with my family. The Toy Story trilogy is the greatest trilogy of all time. :P Currently a missionary serving in the Peru Iquitos Mission

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon simply because it makes sense. Of course our Heavenly Father wants what's best for us. Of course He would give revelation, inspiration, and direction to His children like He did in the days of old. Of course He would give us a true and living prophet on the earth today to guide us and direct us. Of course He wants us to come live with Him. Why wouldn't He? I'm a Mormon and I love it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying everyday to be as our older brother, Jesus Christ, was. Kind, loving, and always smiling. In high school, I was heavily involved in service organizations like Student Council, National Honors Society, and Ambassadors club. I helped plan dances, carnivals, assemblies, and so many other events for the student body and community. On the football team I tried my best to be an example to others by not swearing, always being positive and motivating, and being a team player. This attitude got me promoted to team captain. By the end of the season, myself along with a few other Mormon teammates got a few guys to come to church with us. I was also on the Stake Youth Committee for all of the Mormon Youth in my area. We helped plan and carry out dances, youth conferences, and service projects.
