Hi I'm Kelly

I grew up in a small town in Southern Utah. I loved the mountains and out of doors growing up in a rural area.

About Me

I am a semi-retired pharmacist. I spent most of my career in hospital pharmacy administration. I enjoy riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle with my wife. We have enjoyed many rides through the beautiful mountains and deserts of the Western United States. I have a passion for classic muscle cars and have owned a couple of vintage Corvettes. To keep me busy during the winter months I have restored some old motorcycles in my garage. I love being a grandparent and am thankful all our grandkids are just a short drive away. My wife and I are currently preparing to serve as Humanitarian Missionaries in Bulgaria

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in a small town in Utah I thought everyone was a Mormon. All my friends and I attended church together during the week and on weekends. My religion was never challenged, it was easy to become complacent and take for granted my Church membership. It wasn't until I entered army basic training at age 19 that I came face to face with others who did not have any direction or basic beliefs that structured their lives. It was during this time I realized the need for the gospel in my life and the life of others. Two days after I entered basic training my best friend was killed in a car accident. I wll never forget how the other Mormon servicemen rallied around me and supported me in what was a very difficult time. These experiences were instrumental in my motivation to serve a full time mission for the Church. I know that the only way to be happy in this life is to follow the teaching of Jesus Christ. This provides us with a hope and a promise that are lives have meaning and purpose.

How I live my faith

I have always believed that being of person of integrity, one who lives by a strict moral code that is observable to others is how you live your faith. My service in the Church has been most enjoyable to me when I had had opportunities to work with the young men or the young single adults.
