Hi I'm Mitch Halls

I grew up in the White Mountains of Arizona, I love the outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from high school and am about to serve a mission in the Cebu, Philippines mission. I grew up in the White Mountains of Arizona-- yes there are mountains in Arizona. I love skiing and snowboarding, mountain biking, riding my dirtbike, camping, art, slack-lining, rafting, off-roading and pretty much everything outdoors. I love Jesus Christ and try hard to follow his example

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of my parents. However, I love being Mormon and am at the period in my life to where I go to church and live like a Mormon because I love the Lord. I love the feeling of being clean and guiltless before God. I am Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ lived and died for all of us so that we can live with him, I am Mormon because I know families can be sealed for time and all eternity, I am Mormon because I know Heavenly father and Jesus Christ spoke to and taught ancient prophets in the Americas long ago and had them keep a record called the Book of Mormon, I am Mormon because I know God revealed and restored his true church to his servant Joseph Smith. I am Mormon because all of these things have been confirmed to me by the Holy Ghost, I have felt that they are true and that the entire gospel is true. I am Mormon because the Gospel is perfect and this church is led and directed by God with the help of his prophets. I want to be Mormon because Jesus loves me and this is what he wants me to do.

How I live my faith

It is one thing to be a "Mormon" and live your religion, and another thing to be baptized into the LDS church. I try my hardest to live like Jesus Christ, and find joy in doing so. I love my savior and what he has done for me. I live my faith by being friends with those around me and love to make people happy. I try my hardest to live like Christ and when I don't I work hard to fix them. I can't fix them all by myself, but talk to my bishop and leaders for help with the repentant process of the Atonement; the act of a perfect being (Jesus Christ) paying for all of our sins by suffering for us. I love him so much for doing that. I have served as a president to the 12, 14, and 16 year old boys. I go out with the missionaries often to help teach the word of the Lord. To show the Lord I love him, I try not to justify my sins, and try to not let even the little sins work into my life.
