Hi I'm Makenzie

I grew up in a small town in Western Washington State. I am studying to be a nurse and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying to become a Labor and Delivery Nurse. I enjoy being around young children and seeing the bright smiles that come to their faces. I love to play sports, work out and go exploring in the great outdoors. My favorite sports to play are basketball and tennis. I love the feeling I get after a long hike and being able to see the beautiful scenery and I am reminded how magnificent this world we live in is and how my Heavenly Father created all this for us! I am grateful for the person that I am and the experiences I have had. I am a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior and all He has done for me. I was raised into this church having a knowledge of the joy this gospel can bring to my life. Through the years, I have gained a testimony for myself of what it means to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have felt my Saviors love for me as I study His words and learn about His life while here on Earth. I have a strong testimony on the power of the Atonement and that Christ truly did suffor for each of His children and KNOWS us each individually.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the things that I say and do. I teach the young children in the church and can see the joy that appears on their face as they learn more about Jesus and how He loves them because we are all children of God. The simple truths I speak to them help increase my testimony as well as increase their knowledge of the gospel.
