Hi I'm Kaitlyn Jones

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was born and raised in the church. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, I'm Kaitlyn! I'm 19 years old and recently just finished up my freshman year of college. I grew up dancing and danced on a competitive team my sophomore and junior year of high school at Riverton High. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and friends. I received a mission call and have been called to serve in the Louisiana, Baton Rouge Mission. I can't wait to get out there and serve the Lord and find the people who are needing the gospel in their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I truly believe that this gospel brings a happiness that is different than anything else. There are many things in this world that make us happy, but the happiness that the church brings is not like any other. I know that God knows each of us individually and has a specific plan for us. He will always be there for help and guidance. I feel so blessed to be able to have been born and raised in this perfect gospel. It is what I need in life. It gives me purpose, motivation, and fulfillment. I am a Mormon because I know without a doubt that this is the one and true church on this Earth. I have a testimony of the power of the Atonement. I know with this, we are all able to repent and return to Him. We can be cleansed of our sins and stand worthy before God. I am so thankful for the family my Father has given me. They are perfect for me, and I am so happy that we can be together forever. I know that all families have the chance to be sealed for time and all eternity. God has given me so much. He has given all of us so much. And I can't wait to serve Him diligently and obediently for the next 18 months of my life in Louisiana. I know that all of this is true, and I am thrilled to be able to bring people unto Christ. I am a Mormon because I have faith, and complete trust in Him that He knows better than anyone else. He has a plan, a very specific plan. And if we follow this plan as closely as possible, we will return to Him again. This life is beautiful, and the church is what makes it worth it.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve my ward. I have had callings in Young Women's, and just recently finished up my time serving as a primary teacher, teaching the young children in my ward about this great gospel. I am now preparing to serve the Lord for the next 18 months of my life. There have been many sacrifices made to do so, but I wouldn't want to be doing anything else with my time. With lots of prayer, I know without a doubt that I am needed in Louisiana to be a tool in our Father's hands and to teach the people of this gospel.
