Hi I'm Suzie Cox

I love the earth. I love human beings. I love my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

There has always been a kind of magnetism that pulls me to anything that challenges me to really use my senses. I love the earth because it has so much to offer our eyes, ears, noses, hearts, thoughts, tastes and feelings. I love being outside: hiking, rock climbing, walking, swimming, running and really experiencing life at its fullest. I love music and the way it can heal and touch the soul like nothing else.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior and this is a church that is centered on Him and on Heavenly Father's love. I have a gained a knowledge of the truth of this gospel by studying, praying and experiencing things that have led me to believe that we are here on this earth for a purpose. I believe and have come to know that opposition is a fact of life and has been given to us as a gift rather than a burden. Being a Mormon helps me to grow as a human being and to love as I learn. I plan to return to Brigham Young University after my mission here on Temple Square.

How I live my faith

To me, trying to follow Christ's example has had the most impact in my life. I do my best to live by what I believe and to be a good friend and human. Having the Savior and the Atonement in my life helps me to live with happiness and peace. I think it's so important to follow Jesus Christ but also to live our lives authentically, to be the unique version of our self that God created us to be. I am serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 18 months in Salt Lake City, Temple Square. I hope to give my time and abilities to God during these months so that I can help to bring others to Him.
