Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in Idaho. I enjoy music and the joy that it brings. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really enjoy music. It is a serious passion of mine. I've been involved with multiple band and choir programs. I have learned through my experiences that music is a powerful tool. It can lift up the broken hearted and help them feel the spirit. I am about to serve as a full time missionary in Lima, Peru.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the feelings that I get while participating as a member are so comforting and peaceful. This feeling has helped me understand the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true church. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and he saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that we are all children of a loving Father in Heaven who knows each and everyone of us. I know that because of Jesus Christ, there is hope in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I serve anyone, anywhere. I enjoy to even do simple kind acts everyday that change a persons attitude or make there day.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Kyle
Grace is the saving power of Jesus Christ. Once we do all we can to follow Jesus Christ and keep his commandments, his grace will be what saves us. Show more Show less

Why did your church previously practice plural marriage (polygamy)?

Kyle
In Old Testament times, people such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses were commanded from God to practice polygamy. The reason why some early members of the church practiced polygamy was because God commanded them to for the purpose of raising up seed unto Him. This was the same reason prophets in the Old Testament were told to practice plural marriage. In 1890, the Lord commanded that the practice of plural marriage cease. Show more Show less
