Hi I'm Audrue Poliak

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm a convert of 5 years. I'm currently serving in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission.

About Me

I love working out, listening to all kinds of music, and spending time with my family & friends. I got very used to my friends showing up out of the blue to take me with them on some kind of adventure, everything from spontaneous rock climbing and camping trips, to movies and pool parties. I have a large mix of friends in and outside of the church who have all really helped me grow. My parents and younger sisters are the world to me and I don't know where I'd be without them. Most of my extended family aren't members of the church but that doesn't stop us from loving eachother and having a great time with one another just the same.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young my mom had been through the hospital with a stroke while pregnant. It was a challenging time in my family's life and I remember praying for one of the first times by myself for her to be okay. Some friends who were members of the church went to the hospital to give my mom a blessing for her to heal. No more than a couple of months later she was out okay and I had a beautiful baby sister as well. God answered my prayer and He did it through His chosen servants. Even more than that, for me it just makes sense. There's been so many questions answered through my diligent scripture study and prayer of the Gospel of the church. The gospel is one of love, forgiveness, and change that I haven't seen amongst other denominations. The overwhelming sense of love and light I gain from being immersed in the church comes from the gospel and I recognize that I need that light in my own life. There's more of a community here that you can't get anywhere else. This is definitely the church of Jesus Christ and His Atonement is real and lives here.

How I live my faith

I do my best to help those around me and create an understanding between people. In August of 2016 I left on a mission that's been allowing me to be an instrument in the Lord's hands to spread His message to all of His children in the state of Tennessee.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Audrue Poliak
The missionaries will come to share a message about Jesus Christ and how His love and the love of our Father in Heaven are both as present today as they were in days of old. It comes down to you what to do with the knowledge they share though. You need to pray and ask God for yourself if what they tell you is true and if you should follow it in your own life.
