Hi I'm Debbie

I'm from Australia, living in Oman. I'm a mother of 7 children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in South Australia. In 1992 I married my best friend and now we have 3 sons and 4 daughters. My family means the world to me. In 2013 we moved to Saudi Arabia and this year we moved to Oman. My hobbies include cooking with my Thermomix, cleaning, exercising, and eating. I am studying psychology online, it has nearly been 10 years. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon faith, it has always been a part of my life. However, I still have made choices to follow the values and principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is not just something in my life, it is my life. The covenants I have made with God from baptism and in the Holy Temple have guided, protected and blessed me and my family. Having a knowledge of where I have come from, why I'm here and why I am going I know is something I have taken for granted. Knowing that through the atonement of Jesus Christ I can repent and through his grace be a better person has changed my very nature in ways that are undescribable. I hope to share this message with all I meet through words and example.

How I live my faith

My faith is the focus of my everyday life. Remembering the small and simple things of daily prayer and scripture study I believe are imperative to staying close to God. I enjoy serving others in my community, either working with children and youth or older people. It is both rewarding and helps me forget about my own problems for a while.
